World number two Novak Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam tournament champion, has said he is thinking about ending his professional career.
Djokovic said at a press conference:
I'm aware that with Nadal and Murray's retirements after the Games, an era is coming to an end. I believe my career is also nearing its conclusion. I'm not thinking about retirement, although I know many people would love for me to retire so this era ends.
Djokovic is a three-time winner of a career Grand Slam in singles, winner of the 2010 Davis Cup as a member of the Serbian national team, winner of 99 ATP tournaments.
Earlier it was reported in the media that Novak Djokovic will take part in the Olympic Games-2024 in Paris only in singles.
