Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has named Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz as the top favorites to win the upcoming Australian Open tennis tournament.

Last year, except the Australian Open, I was less of a disruptor because Carlos and Jannik were beating me a lot of times. At this moment they're clearly the favourites, and that's normal. I try to develop something (in the off-season), and let's see if it works.
For Medvedev, the Australian Open will kick off on Monday, January 13, with a match against Kasidit Samrej. Previously, Daniil has reached second place three times at this Grand Slam tournament.
