The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has imposed a lifetime disqualification on Slovenian Nastja Kolar and American Alexandra Riley. The tennis players were punished for participating in match-fixing.
Kolar and Riley were also fined for violations of the anti-corruption program in tennis. The representative of Slovenia is to pay a fine of $175 thousand, while the American - $50 thousand.
It is noted that Kolar, who previously was in the top 200 of the world, committed 25 violations between 2015 and 2020. Riley, who has never risen above the seventh hundred in the ranking, has committed 15 violations in the same time period.
