French tennis player Arthur Cazaux, ranked 74th in the world, collapsed during the semi-final qualifying match of the Masters series tournament in Miami against compatriot Harold Mayot.
The incident occurred in the third set with the score at 4:6, 7:5, 2:1. Sources say the player felt unwell due to the heat. Medical assistance was provided, and Cazaux was taken off the court in a wheelchair. Harold Mayot advanced to the final of the qualifying rounds.
Tournament in Miami dates from March 19 to 31. The current winner of this Masters is Daniil Medvedev.
