Djokovic Stays Motivated After Federer and Nadal's Retirements

At 37, Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic addressed whether he has lost motivation to continue playing following the retirements of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Djokovic has won 24 Grand Slam titles in his career, including a record ten Australian Open championships. Nadal retired in 2024, while Federer stepped away in 2020.

Novak Djokovic for Eurosport Spain
Did I lose motivation after Federer and Nadal retired? Maybe so, but if I’m not motivated, I’m not here. I don’t play anymore. I put the racquet to rest. I still feel the desire to play; the passion to compete is always there. I hope to push harder.

He spoke about his motivation ahead of the Masters tournament in Madrid, which he has won three times in his career.
