Djokovic Achieves Unique Milestone

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic has reached a historic milestone, becoming the first player in the Open Era (since 1968) to reach 50 semifinal appearances in Grand Slam tournaments, as reported by Opta.

His milestone semifinal came at the 2025 Australian Open, where he advanced by defeating Spanish player Carlos Alcaraz with a score of 4:6, 6:4, 6:3, 6:4.

In the Australian Open semifinal, Djokovic will compete against German player Alexander Zverev.

Earlier, the AO press service reported that Djokovic accepted an apology from a reporter who called him overrated.
