Aryna Sabalenka advanced to her first WTA Cincinnati Open final by defeating world number one Iga Swiatek 6-3, 6-3 in their semi-final clash on Sunday.
Four-time Cincinnati semi-finalist Sabalenka will reach second place in the WTA rankings a week before the US Open begins.
Sabalenka has now progressed to the final, where she will meet US sixth-seeded Jessica Pegula on Monday.
