Tania Mallick appointed head of PCB women's wing

Tania Mallick has been elected as the head of PCB women’s wing, replacing Urooj Mumtaz. Tania is a former badminton player, who also has acted as the vice-president of the Punjab Olympic Association since 2010. She is also a serving member of the Pakistan Olympic Association’s Education and Women’s Commissions.

Urooj Mumtaz left the post in May and acts as the chief selector of the women’s team and has also acted as a commentator in the PCB panel. She got appointed as the head of the women’s wing in September 2019 but due to her multiple roles, her position as the head of the wing came under scrutiny.
