The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the ICC Men’s and Women’s Players of the Month for March 2025. The winners are Shreyas Iyer from India and Georgia Voll from Australia.
Iyer has earned his second ICC Men’s Player of the Month award, following his outstanding performance as the top run-scorer for India and his stellar contributions to their historic victory in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. Voll, on the other hand, celebrates her first ICC Women’s Player of the Month award, having excelled in her batting during Australia’s successful T20I series against New Zealand.
Iyer was a key contributor to India’s historic third win in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, scoring 172 runs at an average of 57.33 in the final three games of the tournament. As the tournament neared its conclusion, Iyer delivered a match-winning performance, scoring 79 runs in just 98 balls, helping India secure a crucial victory in their final group stage match against New Zealand.
In March's matches against New Zealand, Voll displayed an impressive array of strokes, quickly becoming a headline-grabbing figure. In the opening match in Auckland, she smashed her maiden T20I half-century in just 30 balls, helping Australia chase down 138 for victory.
She continued her impressive form in Mount Maunganui, scoring 36 more runs, before delivering a Player of the Match-winning performance in Wellington. In the latter match, Voll scored 75 runs in 57 balls, securing a commanding series sweep over the T20 World Cup champions.
Both players were selected based on a vote from global fans and a panel of experts, including members of the ICC Hall of Fame, former international players, and media representatives.
