The Kings acquired Tristan Thompson from the Celtics to bolster their frontcourt. The deal is between the Kings, the Hawks, and the Celtics. In the trade, the Hawks received Delon Wright, and the Celtics ended up with Kris Dunn, Bruno Fernando, and a 2023 second round draft pick.
Thompson played as the Center for Boston last season and he averaged 7.6 PPG and 8.1 RPG. He won an NBA championship as a member of the LeBron James led Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.
