Scottish club Rangers has identified and barred supporters who made racial gestures towards Celics’ player Kyogo Furuhashi. The incident occurred in Ringwall during the premiership game between the Rangers and the Celtics. The fans sang racist songs and also made offensive eye gestures drawing the ire of the people who are actively speaking against racism.

The Club in its official statement on Twitter said “Unfortunately, a number of Celtic players in recent years have suffered similar racist abuse. As a club open to all, we stand firmly against racism in all its forms and we will give Kyogo our full support. All stakeholders must work together in tackling all forms of bigotry.”
