It turned out to be another exciting day of Premier Football as the day began with a goal fest between Newcastle United and West Ham United. The proceedings began early in the game as Callum Wilson netted a goal for Newcastle in the first five minutes. However, Aaron Croswell covered up the one goal lead by crossing one in at the eighteen minute mark. Afterwards, Newcastle nailed another goal as Jacob Murphy’s header at the forty minute mark gave them a lead. After a 2-1 lead at the half, Newcastle’s defense crumbled and West Ham barged in with three goals as Michail Antonio first gave an assist to Said Benrahma, then also scored a goal at the 66th minute mark. Both Benrahma and Antonio finished with a goal and an assist each.
In the last game, Tottenham Hotspurs got through a tough Manchester City defense and won the game 1-0. The game remained goalless till the Half Time but ten minutes after the interval, Son Heung-min scored the only goal of the game. The big moment came when Steven Bergjwin snuck a pass to Son and he showed amazing skill to sneak a low ball under the keeper Ederson. Manchester City’s offense looked lacklustre and they couldn’t create enough opportunities.
