Barcelona’s eighteen-year-old midfielder Pedri has agreed to sign a contract that extends till 30 June 2026. The contract has a release clause of 1 billion euros. Pedri got named in the UEFA’s team of the tournament last year. He and his national side Spain reached the Euro Semi-Finals last year.
The midfielder is highly creative and can slide passes using his superb vision. Barcelona bagged Pedri last year from Spain’s second division team Las Palmas. Since then, the youngster has played thirty-nine games for the Barcelona squad, including 30 starts. The midfielder has nailed three goals and has given three assists in his budding career. He looks like a great piece for rebuilding Barcelona in the post-Messi era.
