Tournament operator ESL announced the most valuable player of IEM Rio 2023 on CS:GO.
Team Vitality player Mathieu ZywOo Herbaut was awarded the MVP title by the tournament representatives and HLTV portal. The cyber athlete completed all of the maps with a rating greater than one. ZywOo showed his best result in the rematch against OG in the lower bracket game of Group B. His rating was 2.31 with a +21 kills/deaths ratio on Inferno.
Recall that Team Vitality defeated Heroic in the final playoff stage of IEM Rio 2023 on CS:GO. The match ended 2-0 (16-13 on Vertigo; 16-12 on Inferno). ZywOo finished the match with a 1.25 rating.
IEM Rio 2023 was held April 17-23 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Sixteen teams fought for a $250,000 prize pool as well as a slot at IEM Cologne 2023.
