Cybersports team Team Vitality has officially announced the resignation of CS squad coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen, who spent almost two years with the team.
Team Vitality officials thanked the coach for his contributions to the team and wished him good luck in his career:
After almost two years under our banners we are saying goodbye to. @zonic. as our head coach! Danny will always be a part of our legacy, and we can't thank him enough for everything he contributed during his time here. Best of luck in your next project.
It is currently unknown who will replace Sørensen in the coaching position at Team Vitality. According to rumors, Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam, who has been coaching G2 Esports, will be the new coach.
Zonic joined Vitality in early 2022 along with a couple of Astralis players. After a while, the team found their game and won the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2022, the last CS:GO major.
It is already announced that "zonic" will move to Falcons Esports club from Saudi Arabia. He has been offered a big salary and an "unlimited budget" to build a top-1 CS2 team. He will be assisted by sports psychologist Lars Robl, who along with "zonic" left Vitality to join Falcons.
Earlier, insider Aleksey "OverDrive" Biryukov said that the new roster of "zonic" (Falcons) may feature players from Astralis, Vitality, G2 and FaZe.
