Kenyan athlete Kipyegon Bett, aged 26, has sadly passed away. This news was reported by Nation, citing the world junior champion's sister.

The athlete died on Sunday in a hospital in Bomet County, Kenya, where he had been admitted on September 30. Reports indicate that Bett was vomiting blood due to liver failure and other internal organ issues.
