The cybersportsman noted that Gaimin Gladiators is ready to play with anyone. Engel also evaluated the past reshuffle on the pro scene and talked about the preparation of his team:

To be honest, I've already forgotten which teams are in our group. I don't really care who we're playing against, since we're going to fight everyone when we get to the tournament anyway. Things are looking pretty intense though, an interesting reshuffle this season and some good teams to watch out for. Our preparation is going great so far and I'm looking forward to traveling and playing again.
The Gladiators' first opponent at the championship will be BetBoom Team. The match will take place on December 11 at 07:00 GMT+3.
ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, will be held from December 11 to 17 at LAN in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 12 teams will play for one million dollars in prize money and ESL ranking points.
