The Association for Gymnastics in the Netherlands boycotted a congress of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) because of the admission of representatives from Russia. This is reported by Inside the Games.
Earlier the boycott was declared by the gymnastics federations of Norway, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Italy.
February 28, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended sports federations not to allow Russian athletes to participate in competitions. Earlier, the committee had called on international federations to postpone or cancel all tournaments that were to be held in Russia.
