In the early hours of November 11, esports organization Team Secret announced a new roster for their Dota 2 team on their social media platforms.
Previously, on October 13, Team Secret had announced the disbandment of their Dota 2 roster, a rumor that was soon confirmed. The team officially parted ways with Remco "Crystallis" Arets, TTeng "Kordan" Tjin Yao, and Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan.
However, less than a month later, Team Secret has reassembled, as the organization felt that a prolonged absence from the professional scene would not serve them well and swiftly introduced their new lineup.
Here is the current roster for Team Secret:
- Bilguun "423" Altanginj;
- Aleksey "Ainkrad" Diveevskiy;
- Batsaikhan "seimei" Munkhjin;
- Misha "Kyzko" Galkin;
- Clement "Puppey" Ivanov
Within hours of the announcement, many community members commented on the news. Former esports player Khaled "sQreen" Al-Habash noted that this marks the "end of Puppey’s career," which is "sad to witness".
Notably, the updated roster includes two players from the CIS and two from Mongolia. The team will compete in the qualifiers for ESL One Bangkok 2024 in Eastern Europe.
