I think Team Liquid can finally win at the Riyadh Masters. They have been practicing very hard this season to win. Their play may not seem the most confident at first, but they often only get better over the course of the tournament.

Recall that Team Liquid finished second at Riyadh Masters 2023, losing in the grand finals to Team Spirit (1-3), earning $2.5 million in prize money. The confrontation turned out to be spectacular. Before that, the European team spent half of the season at a high level. The team reached the finals at DreamLeague Season 19, The Lima Major 2023, ESL One Berlin Major 2023 and The Bali Major 2023, but always stopped one step away from victory.

In 2024, Liquid only finished second at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024. The team did not show good results at DreamLeague Season 22 and 23, and also stopped in 5-6 place of ESL One Birmingham 2024, PGL Wallachia Season 1 and fourth place Elite League Season 1.

At the time of writing the news, the team is preparing for Riyadh Masters 2024. Liquid has no other tournaments scheduled before the upcoming championship in Saudi Arabia.
