The schedule for the third day of Challengers stage of the IEM Rio Major 2022 has been announced.
Sixteen teams are fighting for eight slots in the next round of the tournament. However, there are already some teams that are close to finishing their performance in the major. Imperial Esports, IHC Esports, 00 Nation and Cloud9 will play in a series of elimination matches. The first meeting will take place between 00 Nation and IHC Esports at 4:30 p.m. GMT.
Eight teams with 1 win and 1 loss will play for tournament points, needed to qualify for the Legends stage. The first match will be held at 2 p.m. GMT between 9z Team and Evil Geniuses.
The first participants of the Legends stage will also be known on the third game day. The upper bracket matches will begin at 4:30 p.m. GMT. The first match is MOUZ vs. Fnatic.
The IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 15. The top teams from around the world play against each other for a prize pool of $1,250,000.
