Professional Counter-Strike 2 player Oleksander "s1mple" Kostyliev commented on the results of the 2023 Ballon d'Or football award. He stated that Erling Haaland deserved this award more.
According to the cybersportsman, Haaland should have taken the Ballon d'Or in 2023 instead of Lionel Messi. Kostyliev also noted that Erling can contend for the award in 2024:
Well, really, Haaland deserved it more, but I'm a Messi fan, so I wasn't too upset about that. But Haaland should definitely be the next to get the award. But Messi is great, he did a good job.
