Professional Aurora Gaming player Evgeniy "r3salt" Frolov, in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net, shared his thoughts on Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa's transfer to the main G2 CS2 roster.
R3salt noted that the transfer should strengthen the team:

I think he will outshine everyone, even in new positions. He has a good level and should significantly help the team.
MalbsMd has been with M80 since July 2023. Together with the team, the Guatemalan player won the ESL Challenger League North America 46 and 47. By the first half of 2024, he ranked in the top five with a 2.0 rating.
On June 28th, malbsMd signed a contract with G2. The current team lineup includes:
- Nikola "Niko" Kovac;
- Nemanja "huNter-" Kovac;
- Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen;
- Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov;
- Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa.
The upcoming tournament for G2 Esports will be the Esports World Cup 2024. The competition will take place from July 17th to 21st in LAN format in Saudi Arabia with a prize pool of $1 million.
