Professional player from Aurora Gaming, Evgeniy "r3salt" Frolov, shared his insights on Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen's move to inactive status in G2 Esports' CS2 team exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport.

The esports athlete mentioned that the former captain struggled to perform at the tier-1 level:

They finally did it, but honestly, HooXi had a good understanding of the game, just couldn't reach the tier-1 level.

On July 1, G2 Esports announced changes to their Counter-Strike 2 roster on their social media, revealing Nielsen's departure. The captain was praised for his contributions to the team and the trophies won. The replacement for HooXi is yet to be revealed.

G2 Esports' upcoming tournament will be the Esports World Cup 2024 in Saudi Arabia from July 17 to 21, featuring a prize pool of $1 million.
