Norwegian website TV2 has calculated the bonuses for several skiers who competed at the World Championships in Trondheim, Norway, in 2025. Leading the list is Norwegian Johannes Klaebo, who earned 120,000 euros for winning six gold medals.
Therese Johaug from Norway, who did not win gold, received 45,000 euros. Three-time World Champion Ebba Andersson from Sweden will earn 63,000 euros for her victories in the skiathlon, individual race, and classic relay.
It has been reported that athletes will receive additional rewards from their national federations and sponsors.
