Johannes Klæbo Misses Medal at World Cup Opener in Ruka

In the opening stage of the 2024/2025 World Cup season in Ruka, Finland, Norwegian skier Johannes Klæbo, a five-time Olympic champion, failed to win a medal in the 10 km classic race.

He finished fourth, trailing the winner, Finland’s Iivo Niskanen, a three-time Olympic champion, by 28.2 seconds.

Norwegian skier Harald Estberg Amundsen took silver, finishing 12.5 seconds behind Niskanen, while fellow Norwegian Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget claimed bronze, finishing 14.1 seconds off the pace.
