He finished fourth, trailing the winner, Finland’s Iivo Niskanen, a three-time Olympic champion, by 28.2 seconds.
Norwegian skier Harald Estberg Amundsen took silver, finishing 12.5 seconds behind Niskanen, while fellow Norwegian Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget claimed bronze, finishing 14.1 seconds off the pace.
