Professional player Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen shared his thoughts about the new version of Counter-Strike from Valve exclusively for Telecomasia.net
Jamppi talked about the similarities between the shooting mechanics in CS2 and Valorant:
I personally didn't like CS2 very much, I've played about 20 games so far. It's getting better, but I haven't played it for a month. Right now the shooting in CS2 is similar to Valorant. I think these games can't be compared because it's everyone's personal opinion.
The 22-year-old Jamppi currently plays for Team Liquid in the Valorant discipline. In August this year, he renewed his contract with the organization.
Recall that Olkkonen received a VAC-ban in 2015. He tried to get the ban lifted for a long time and even sued Valve. However, he didn't succeed. Then Jamppi decided to switch to Valorant. Note that in April 2021, the developers changed the rules of CS:GO tournaments. Cyber athletes were allowed to participate in RMR tournaments, if it has been more than 5 years since receiving a VAC-ban.
