ESL Tournament Operator doesn't agree with HLTV when it came to choosing the best CS:GO player of IEM Katowice 2023. The tournament organizers have chosen their own candidate.
ESL chose Justin jks Savage as the most valuable player of IEM Katowice 2023. HLTV chose Nemanja HuNter-Kovač.
HLTV consultant Petar Milovanovic explained that they also had jks on their list, but gave the MVP title to huNter- because he performed better in the playoffs.
On February 12, G2 was crowned champion of the IEM Katowice 2023, which took place from February 1-12 in Katowice, Poland. In the final, the team with huNter- and jks defeated Heroic 3-1.
Earlier, Ilya m0NESY Osipov became the youngest IEM Katowice champion.
