G2 Esports defeated w7m esports in the final of the Six Invitational 2023 for Rainbow Six Siege to become the champion of the major. The meeting ended 3-1.
Jack Doki Robertson's lineup started the playoffs in the bottom set, and defeated FaZe Clan, DarkZero, M80, Wolves Esports, Astralis and Oxygen Esports on their way to the finals.
G2 received $1 million in prize money for first place, while w7m earned $450,000. Oxygen took home $240,000 and Astralis was awarded $170,000.
Six Invitational 2023 was held February 7-19 in Montreal, Canada. The top 20 teams in the world competed for a prize pool of three million dollars.
