According to The Guardian, Carlos Yulo, a Filipino gymnast who won two gold medals in artistic gymnastics at the 2024 Paris Olympics, will be awarded a lifetime supply of noodles back home.
In addition to the noodles, Yulo will also receive a fully furnished apartment, gifts from chain restaurants, free consultations, endoscopic procedures, and more.
Yulo is notably the first Filipino and the first male gymnast from Southeast Asia to win a medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He is also the first athlete to secure multiple Olympic gold medals for the Philippines.
Meanwhile, the U.S. women's team has been crowned Olympic champions in the gymnastics tournament.
