American cybersports club officially disbanded the Dota 2 lineup and fired some employees. This was announced by the manager of the team Vitória "Guashineen" De Paula Fonseca Otero.
According to the source, the organization has no plans to return to the discipline with a new roster next season. The former EG squad is already looking for a new club to continue their careers.
EG's former Dota 2 roster:
- Crhistian "Pakazs" Savina;
- Jean Pierre "Chris" Gonzales Salazar;
- Adrian "Wisper" Cespedes Dobles;
- Farith "Matthew" Puente;
- Leonardo "Panda" Hernandez;
- Juan David "Vintage" Angulo Nicho (coach).
As a reminder, EG has competed in the Dota 2 discipline since 2011. The team took 13-16th place at the past championship The International 12 (2023) in Seattle. The team received $47,000 in prize money for the performance.
