Danish cyber athlete Peter Dupreeh Rasmussen set the all-time record for victories in the CS:GO majors. The rifler has won five Valve tournaments.
It's worth noting that dupreeh has played in all 19 CS:GO Majors that Valve has held. He took first place at ELEAGUE Major Atlanta 2017, FACEIT Major London 2018, IEM Katowice Major 2019 and StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 along with Astralis, for whom he played from 2016 to 2021.
In January 2022, dupreeh joined Team Vitality along with player Emil Magisk Reif and coach Danny zonic Sørensen. The team later became the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 champion. No one on the CS:GO pro scene will ever break that record.
All dupreeh's titles at CS:GO tournaments from Valve:
- ELEAGUE Major Atlanta 2017 (Astralis);
- FACEIT Major London 2018 (Astralis);
- IEM Katowice Major 2019 (Astralis);
- StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 (Astralis);
- BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 (Team Vitality).
Zonic became a five-time CS:GO majors winner as a coach. Like dupreeh, he won four championships with Astralis and took his fifth trophy with Vitality.
BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 was held May 8-21 in Paris, France. 24 teams competed for $1.25 million in prize money, as well as a ticket to IEM Cologne 2023 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2023. In the final, Vitality defeated GamerLegion 2-0 for $500,000. This was the last CS:GO major. Since 2024, Valve will host tournaments in this series in CS 2.
