Colombian cyclist Juan David Cárdenas tragically passed away during training due to a car accident, according to reports from the Portuguese team Portos Windmob.

Local police indicated that the athlete was riding with his head down and didn’t notice a stationary van, resulting in his immediate death. The incident occurred in Boyacá, Colombia.
