Professional player, former captain of No Sorry, and Dota 2 analyst and commentator Vladislav "BLACKARXANGEL" Ivachshenko shared his insights on the roster shuffle at BetBoom Team in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net.
BLACKARXANGEL believes that the previous lineup of BetBoom Team was actually quite competent:
Honestly, the previous roster turned out to be functional. It all depends on how high your expectations are. Overall, there was a lot of misunderstanding within BetBoom Team; there were likely internal conflicts. Of course, I can't say for certain what was going on behind the scenes, but I have a fair idea of the problems they might have faced. I think Saika [Nightfall] always wanted to win and was trying hard until the end, but not all of his teammates were as committed to the game. By the end, there were regular conflicts, and boo1k was even banned from the drafts because the team no longer believed in his ideas. The roster was solid; at the very least, they always won their lanes and played confidently, which was great to watch.
Regarding the rumored potential roster for BetBoom Team, which includes players like Pure, gpk, Collapse, 9Class/Kataomi, and Dukalis, BLACKARXANGEL assessed the potential of this lineup:
As for the rumors... honestly, it looks strong on paper. There's a skilled player who leads the game. There’s a good mid-laner, a talented fourth position player and a stable ‘five.’ I like the combination with both 9Class and Kataomi. Overall, the roster should look very solid.
In The International 13, the team finished in 7th-8th place, earning just over $65,000 in prize money. BetBoom Team manager Lukawa confirmed that changes would be made to the lineup. Insiders have presented two potential scenarios for the team's development. One suggests that the team will be built around Pure, with gpk, Collapse, 9Class/Kataomi, and Dukalis.
