Ax1Le Comments on PARIVISION Disqualification: Rules Are Rules

Professional Cloud9 player Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov spoke to Telecomasia.net about the disqualification of the PARIVISION team from the RMR tournament for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.

Sergey emphasized the importance of adhering to the rules, particularly in Valve tournaments:

Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov
It’s sad and unfortunate for the guys, but rules are rules. We need to be very careful, especially at Valve tournaments.

On August 25, tournament organizer Perfect World disqualified the PARIVISION team from the CS2 RMR tournament for the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. The announcement was made on social media. The decision was made in conjunction with Valve due to coach Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov being present during a live broadcast of the closed qualifiers.

The spot left vacant by PARIVISION will be contested among three teams: KOI, Monte, and Bleed Esports. The winner will take PARIVISION's place in the RMR. The first match will see KOI face Monte, with the victor taking on Bleed Esports.

The European qualifiers for the RMR tournament for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 took place online from August 21 to 23, with participants competing for 16 slots in the next stage.
