AVULUS Consider Dota 2 Midlaner Replacement

Esports organization AVULUS may soon make changes to its Dota 2 roster.

According to Telecomasia.net, the team's midlaner, Daniel "Stormstormer" Shoettsau, is expected to leave the team. The 26-year-old German player's decision to depart could come shortly if a suitable replacement is found.

The current AVULUS Dota 2 lineup includes:

  • Aliaksei “Smiling Knight” Svirydau;
  • Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau;
  • Andreas "Xibbe" Ragnemalm;
  • Marcel "Ekki" Golovienko;
  • Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev

It's worth noting that during the PGL Wallachia Season 3, AVULUS played four matches in the group stage, suffering three losses by a score of 0-2 against Tundra Esports, Gaimin Gladiators, and Natus Vincere, while securing a victory against Mosquito Clan with a score of 2-1. The team finished in 14th place, earning a prize pool of $15,000.

As of the time of this writing, AVULUS is preparing to compete in ESL One Raleigh 2025. The championship is scheduled to take place from April 7 to 13 in the United States. The team will be vying for a prize pool of $1 million.
