Australian Surfer Jack Robinson Reveals Near-Drowning Incident At 2024 Olympics

Australian surfer Jack Robinson has stated that he came very close to drowning during the competitions at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Robinson was quoted by the Daily Mail as saying:

I got dragged over the bottom and almost had a two wave hold under. I didn't get much air. There wasn't much time. I got reminded of so many guys who have had so many bad wipe-outs here.

Despite the dangerous incident, the Australian surfer advanced to the quarterfinals of the events taking place in Tahiti (French Polynesia). The final for surfers is scheduled for July 31.

The 2024 Olympics in Paris started on July 26 and will conclude on August 11.
