Australian Grass Hockey Player Arrested for Drug Purchase During Olympics

Australian field hockey player Tom Craig has been arrested on suspicion of buying cocaine on the streets of Paris during the Olympic Games, reports Adelaide Now.

Under French law, the athlete faces a fine of 150 euros without the threat of criminal prosecution.

This information has been confirmed by the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC), which stated that Craig is under custody following his arrest.

Previously, members of the German field hockey team criticized the quality of food provided to them in the Olympic village.
