Athletes Complain About Insufficient Food Ahead Of 2024 Olympics

According to the French publication L'Equipe, athletes have expressed concerns over the lack of food in the main restaurant of the Olympic Village prior to the start of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

As the competitions have not yet begun and many athletes have already arrived at the Olympic Village, the food provided in the main restaurant turned out to be insufficient. Certain items, such as eggs, had to be rationed.

The publication reported that some athletes voiced dissatisfaction about the quantity of food available, which they felt was insufficient on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, or about the speed with which supplies of certain items were replenished.

The Summer Olympics in France will start on July 26 and run until August 11.
