The Play-In stage of the IEM Cologne 2023 CS:GO Championship has come to an end. Eight strongest teams entered the group stage, and the others left the competition.
Monte, Astralis, fnatic, MOUZ, Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG, 9INE and TheMongolz have reached the group stage of IEM Cologne 2023. These teams were ranked 1-8 in the Play-In.
In turn, Imperial Esports, Apeks, Team Liquid, FURIA Esports, Complexity Gaming, BIG, Grayhound and Into the Breach left the championship, earning from 2.5 to 4.5 thousand dollars of prize money depending on the place.
Monte, Astralis, fnatic, MOUZ, Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG, 9INE and TheMongolz joined Team Vitality, Heroic, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, Cloud9, Natus Vincere and other squads in the group stage of IEM Cologne 2023.
The group stage will begin on July 29. The 16 participants will be divided into two groups of eight teams each. Heroic, TheMongolz, GamerLegion, Monte, Cloud9, fnatic, ENCE and 9INE will play in Group A, while Vitality, OG, Natus Vincere, MOUZ, G2 Esports, Astralis, FaZe and Ninjas in Pyjamas will play in Group B.
Only the teams that finish in the top 3 of their group will qualify for the playoffs. The final stage of IEM Cologne 2023 will begin on August 4th and end on August 6th.
IEM Cologne 2023 takes place from July 26 to August 6th at the LAN in Cologne, Germany. 24 teams are playing for one million dollars in prize money. The winner will also receive a slot at IEM Katowice 2024.
