Triathlon competitions at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris may be canceled due to E. Coli bacteria found in the Seine river, according to Sky News.
The Summer Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to August 11 of this year.
According to the source, the quality of water in the river remains low despite purification procedures that cost the French capital over a billion euros. Only one out of 14 water samples turned out to be satisfactory. The triathlon competitions may be relocated or canceled.
