In the Round of 32 at the Ostrava Open, China’s Shuai Zhang and Kazakhstan’s Yulia Putintseva engaged in a three-set thriller. Yulia came on top winning 5-7, 7-6, 6-4 in what turned out to be a grueling battle. Zhang and Yulia both won seven break points apiece, Shuai won 73 service points compared to Putintseva’s 70. Yulia won 71% on First Serve while Shuai won 65%.
Right now, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is tussling it out against Ana Konjuh. In other matches, Tereza Matincova takes on Czech compatriot Katerina Siniakova, Angelique Kerber battles Jil Teichmann and the day will be wrapped up with the game between Elena Rybakina and Veronika Kudermetova.
