Kyrie Irving’s refusal to get unvaccinated has made things chaotic for both the player and the team. Irving has been steadfast in his approach towards vaccination even when Andrew Wiggins who had a similar stance earlier, finally decided to get vaccinated. In New York, the vaccination of workers is mandatory to continue production at the workplace, so a lack of vaccination means that Irving is going to miss home games while losing out on millions.
Steve Nash informed that the team is not going to relocate its practices outside New York which means that Irving has to be away from the team for ten days except for an away fixture versus the Sixers. It is hard to see how this will pan out and how long will Kyrie refuse vaccination because of his potential absence from the forty-two games (Including one game at Golden State Warriors where vaccination is mandatory at a workplace) at least and if the team makes the Playoffs, curbs the depth of the big-three formed between Kyrie, Harden, and Durant.
