Morocco has earned a pivotal win to start their Central African Qualifying tournament campaign as they gained a two-nil victory over Sudanese men. They began the game at a rapid pace and lodged the first goal at the tenth-minute mark as Nayef Aguerd hurled one in. Sudan didn’t help themselves much in the second half and at the fifty-three mark, Hussein Ahmad Hussein Al Ghazi conceded an own goal.
In the other games of Africa Leg, Algeria had some fun with Djibouti after they nailed a whopping eight goals as Islam Slimani kicked a stunning four goals winning eight-nil. The first goal came in the fifth minute courtesy of Islam and then at the twenty-two-minute mark, Djibouti’s Mohamed Batio received a red card as the ten-men lineup conceded seven further goals. Meanwhile, Ivory Coast and Mozambique finished with a nin-nil, and Zimbabwe and South Africa also shared a nil-nil result.
