Reigning UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski will fight Ilia Topuria at UFC 298, which is scheduled to take place in February 2024.
Volkanovski last fought against Islam Makhachev this past October at UFC 294. In this confrontation, Alexander was defeated by technical knockout in the first round. He has 26 wins and three losses on his record.
Topuria last went into the octagon against Josh Emmett in June of this year at UFC on ABC 5. This fight lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Ilia by unanimous decision. He has 14 wins and no losses on his record.
