The UFC bantamweight bout between Ecuadorian Marlon Vera and Brazilian Pedro Munhoz will take place on August 19 at UFC 292 in Boston.
It was reported by ESPN.
Recall, the media previously wrote that Vera's opponent at UFC 292 was going to be former two-division champion Henry Cejudo. However, Cejudo recently withdrew from the fight due to an injury.
Vera, 30, last stepped into the Octagon this March at UFC on ESPN 43 against Cory Sandhagen. In that fight, Marlon was defeated by split decision. He has 21 wins, eight losses and one draw under his belt.
Munhoz, 36, fought in July 2022 against Sean O'Malley at UFC 276. That fight was stopped in the second round and ruled a mistrial due to an accidental poke to the eye by O'Malley. Munhoz, 35, has 20 wins and seven losses under his belt.
