A bantamweight bout between Russian fighter Umar Nurmagomedov and American Cory Sandhagen could take place on February 11 at the UFC event.
This was made known from the new episode of the Full Send podcast. The hosts of the show met with UFC CEO Dana White in the promotion's office, and in one of the shots you can see a board that shows the fights in the pipeline.
Recall, Sandhagen and Nurmagomedov were scheduled to meet in August 2023 at UFC on ESPN 50, but the Russian withdrew from the fight due to injury.
Nurmagomedov, 27, last fought in January 2023 at UFC Fight Night 217, defeating Raoni Barcelos by first-round knockout. He has 16 wins and no losses on his record.
Sandhagen, 31, last stepped into the octagon in August 2023 at UFC on ESPN 50, defeating Rob Font by unanimous decision. He has 17 wins and four losses on his record.
