UFC's Oldest Fighter Announces Retirement

42-year-old UFC fighter Vinc Pichel took to social media to announce that he is retiring from professional mixed martial arts.

The short version: At 42 years old and I’m officially retiring from competing in MMA. The longer version: I’m sad, I’m excited, I’m happy, I’m afraid.

For background, Vince has fought in the top league since 2012. Over 13 years, he participated in 16 bouts, achieving victory in 10 of them. His last fight was in March 2025 at UFC on ESPN 64, where he lost by unanimous decision to Rafa Garcia. Overall, he leaves with 17 wins and 6 losses.
