No. 3 UFC light heavyweight Brazilian Alex Pereira has revealed when he might have a fight in the boxing ring.
Maybe I'll do a boxing fight in 2027.
Recall that Pereira will fight Jiri Prochazka for the promotion's vacant light heavyweight championship belt at UFC 295 on November 12.
Pereira last fought against Jan Blachowicz in July 2023 at UFC 291. In that confrontation, Alex won by split decision of the judges. It was the Brazilian's debut in the light heavyweight division. He has eight wins and two losses on his record.
Prochazka last entered the octagon against Glover Teixeira in June 2022 at UFC 275. Jiri won that fight with a choking submission in the fifth round. He has 29 wins, three losses and one draw.
