
Former UFC heavyweight champion and current PFL fighter Francis Ngannou was involved in a deadly traffic accident in Cameroon, as reported by Le Bled Parle.
According to reports, 17-year-old Ntsama Brigitte Manuella died after being struck by a motorcycle driven by Ngannou. The accident happened while Manuella was returning home from a walk with friends.
The collision was severe, and Ngannou immediately rushed to help, personally transporting her to a hospital in Yaoundé known for its advanced medical facilities. Despite undergoing emergency surgery for serious injuries to her leg and arm, Manuella did not survive.
Ngannou last fought in October 2024 at the PFL Super Fights - Battle of the Giants, where he won against Renan Ferreira by knockout in the first round. His professional record currently stands at 18 wins and three losses.
